Services
We try very hard to be good stewards of your horses and our property alike. Some of the functions we perform are as follows:
* We bushhog our pastures as needed.
* At times we like to drag our pastures to spread the manure.
* We walk our fence lines periodically but always walk them after a storm to learn of any damage.
* An outdoor wash area is provided
* A 60-foot diameter round-pen is available
* Sonny sends daily e-mails to all boarders relating to the condition of the animals after he has gone to the pasture and
checked on the horses. Any problem with any horse is reported to the owner.
* In the spring time, we spray our fences so as to control growth. We also mow between the asphalt of Holly Springs Road
and our fence (about a half mile long) and one round inside our fence line.
* Boarders are welcome to ride in the wooded trails or in the pastures if they choose. A sheltered tack-up area
is provided.
* Winter hay is provided when necessary. This is done for a small fee.
* Our hog-wire fences are 47” high and have one strand of barbed wire 2” above. All fences, perimeter and cross fencing
have capped wooden posts.
* A small tack-room is available and also room for your trunk.
* Fresh water is provided by our 4 ½ acre pond which is stocked with bass and bream. Fishing is available to boarders.
(A printed list of rules is available)
* From time to time we hold events at CSF where boarders are welcome to attend. For the most part the events are
Country/Bluegrass music related.
